COVID UPDATE - MASK
The wearing of face masks will no longer be a legal requirement in Healthcare settings from Monday 30th May.
However, we would like to strongly encourage all patients to continue wearing masks when attending for their appointments, but this will not be mandatory. We will ask our team members to consider doing the same when they attend work.
We will endeavour to get you to see the GP of your choice. However, at times this may not be possible due to current pressures on the NHS.
Some of our GP's and Nurses can speak fluently in Welsh. Do ask us if you require this service. The above GP Policy may apply, but we will endevour to offer this to you.
We now require patients to allow a minimum of 72 working hours (3 working days) to process your prescription request. See how news section below for further information.
Please note: We are not taking part with the Covid booster programme. You will receive an email, text or letter from the Healthboard when your time for vaccine becomes available. May I ask you do not contact the surgery about it. Thanks in advance. For more information please visit: COVID-19 Vaccination Booster Information - Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (nhs.wales)
e-Consult - New hours of operation, Mon-Fri 0830-1830.
No Service on bank holidays
Please may we ask patients to NOT attend surgery requesting appointments. Our telephone lines open at 8.30am every morning, and a triage system is in place until 11.30am with the exception of a Thursday which is until 11am. Our reception team are trained to ask a number of questions in order to streamline our appointments.
You may be requested to use one of our additional services such as Econsult or Common Aliment service at the local pharmacy. Due to the ongoing pandemic we are experiencing an increase in staff sickness & staff isolation resulting in appointments being Emergencies only. Routine appointments for Nurses and Flu clinics will also only be made over the telephone.
Please help us to keep our fronts door open by only attending surgery for your pre-booked appointment or when advised by reception to collect paperwork.
NHS 111 is now available. it replaces the current NHS Direct Wales and GP Out of Hours numbers.

The present premises of Pendre Surgery were originally built in 1965 and were one of the first purpose-built in Wales. The surgery was extended in 1990 and 2000. As Mold is situated in a rural area, Pendre Surgery also serves the surrounding villages. The surgery is situated at the junction of West View with Clayton Road. The local GP co-operative is used over the weekend from 6.30pm Friday to 8.00am on Monday, and between 6.30pm and 8.00am during weekdays.
The doctors practise together as a non-limited partnership. We undertake training for undergraduate medical students and we mentor pharmacists and nurse practitioners.
