Thursday 9.00am - 12 noon 12 noon - 6.00pm (limited service via side doors)
Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm 2.00 - 6.00pm

Access

Some (not all) of the doctors start their surgeries before 9.00am and only one runs to 6.15pm, so the consultation times shown in the table below are not universal. Patients attending appointments before 9.00am and after 6.00pm (12 noon on Thursdays) will need to use the side doors.

Each doctor has one day off during the working week. This is based on a rota system and will change accordingly.

Please note that your telephone calls will be greeted with an answer machine message when the surgery is closed. A telephone contact number will be given for any strictly urgent enquiries that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

PRACTICE TRAINING AFTERNOONS

Please note that the surgery will be closed from 1.00 until 5.00pm on one Tuesday/Wednesday of every month for staff training. If you urgently require a GP during this time please telephone the normal surgery number and you will be given the emergency number on the answer machine.

NHS DIRECT

Patients can contact a triage nurse for advice at NHS Direct Wales on telephone number 0845 4647. This service is available 24 hours a day.

www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk is the NHS Direct Wales website that provides information on health and health services across Wales and complements the NHS Direct Wales telephone service.

OUT OF HOURS

There is always a doctor on call. For the out-of-hours emergency service telephone 759163 for the telephone number of the duty doctor, which is given as a recorded message. Please listen to the message carefully as on some occasions there may be more than one number. IN EXTREME CASES TELEPHONE 999 FOR AN AMBULANCE IF THERE WILL BE A DELAY IN GETTING A DOCTOR.

The GP co-operative responsible for providing care to patients out of hours is the North Wales out-of-hours service, telephone number 0300 123 55 66. This service is commissioned by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
