Important notice: Transition to new IT system
Dear Patients,
We are excited to announce that we will be transitioning to a new clinical IT system on Wednesday 5th February 2025. This upgrade is part of a change to all practices in Wales and is aimed at improving our services.
Key Dates to Note: From 30th January 2025 – 5th February 2025- We will be dealing with urgent matters only during this time but pre-booked appointment will still go ahead.
30th January 2025: We will have no access to our Clinical system. For patient safety, please only contact us for very urgent matters. If at all possible, we would suggest avoiding contacting us on this day.
Between 31st January and 5th February 2025: We will have very limited access to our usual systems. During this period, we will be operating on an emergency basis only. If you do need to contact us, please use our eConsult service or if you don’t have access to the internet then please telephone.
We are doing everything we can to minimise disruption, however, our services will be more limited over this time. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition period. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition with minimal impact on your care.
We would kindly ask not to book a blood test between these dates as results will take longer to reach us.
We have been preparing for a number of weeks to issue Prescriptions due during these days. Any requests handed in during will take longer than our usual time frame.
